After the talk, the Arts Officer from the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth approached me with a possible offer of a Residency. After a few exhaustive months of securing funding, I’m now planning a Project, which will culminate in an Exhibition within the Museum Collections later on this year.
I am intrigued by the mystery that surrounds the Bronte family, and by the Moors that surround their once family home. Wuthering Heights was one of the first books I read, and is still a favourite of mine. Not least because I have personal associations with it. I remember my nan giving me her copy of the book, when I was about ten years old. I drove from London to Haworth last week to begin my research in the Museum Library. There were many inspiring objects on display, but I am still in the early stages of my research, and am not sure which direction I am going to take yet.
<img style="display:block; For the last couple of months I've had nowhere to work. The old studio was too cold and damp during the Winter months, and it was impossible to sit and make art-works in sub-zero temperatures. Recently, I have taken a lease out on a new studio in South London, and I finished moving all of my stuff into the delightful space last week. It feels good to be back at work.

The Times Magazine 'A Christmas Less Ordinary'

<img style="display:block;
